Cricket Leinster is pleased to confirm that Simon Dyke will be commencing his new role as Cricket Operations & Administration Manager on Monday week, 13th July.
Simon will succeed Kevin Gallagher who is leaving Cricket Leinster at the end of July. We would like to express our thanks and gratitude to Kevin for his strong contribution over his time with Cricket Leinster and in particular for his dedication, support and flexibility in staying on to assist us over the lock-down period. It is very much appreciated.
Simon brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role and will be hitting the ground running as we look to return to play as soon as possible with a focus on the T20 format building towards a series of Finals in the autumn. The Open Competitions Committee, Women's Committee and Youth Committee are very focused on maximising safe cricket opportunities for all within the available weeks. Our primary focus will be on 'participation with competition' with details to be published shortly.
In addition, Simon will also be busy in his new capacity overseeing the operations of our Interprovincial fixtures with further details expected on this from Cricket Ireland shortly.
Please join with us in finally welcoming Simon to the Cricket Leinster community.
